Celebrating the Performing and Visual Arts
The parade and fireworks will be held on Tuesday, July 4. The rain date for the fireworks is Wednesday, July 5.
The parade street line-up is by 7:45am sharp! Parade participants are required to check-in with their Street Captain by 7:45am sharp! Water guns, water balloons and water of any kind are not permitted to be thrown at the parade.
The parade begins promptly at 8:30am. There is no rain date for the parade. It will take place rain or shine - except for severe weather.
The parade starts at Paris Avenue and Amherst Road. It will proceed northwest down Amherst Road, turn left onto East Pine Street, turn left onto Edgewood Avenue and end at the judges’ reviewing stand in front of “B” building at the High School. The parade route is about 1.5 miles long. From start to finish, the parade takes about 1-hour to 1-1/2 hours depending on the number of participants.
Parade participants are invited to have complimentary hot dogs and soda at the Little League concession stand immediately following their participation in the parade.
